Sierra Hydrographics Named AQUARIUS Certified Integrator in California

Sierra Hydrographics will leverage AQUARIUS software to deliver highly qualified water data management solutions to a region desperately in need of accurate, timely hydrological information.

Vancouver, Canada, August 10, 2015 – Aquatic Informatics Inc., a global leader in providing innovative software for hydrologic data management and analysis, announced a new AQUARIUS Certified Integrator partner – Sierra Hydrographics – the leading hydrographics provider within the Central Valley of California.

“We became a Certified AQUARIUS Integrator because we saw a need for our customers, small and large, to have specialized software to easily manage their water data and be able to produce informative reports,” said Michael Medlin, Hydrographer with Sierra Hydrographics. “As a small business ourselves, we know that software upgrades can be intimidating yet vital to the success of an organization. We wanted to be able to provide great localized customer support in California in order to get our clients deployed, trained, and using AQUARIUS Time-Series as quickly as possible.”

As a Certified AQUARIUS Integrator, Sierra Hydrographics is highly qualified to provide installation, configuration, training, and integration services for the AQUARIUS software suite to environmental monitoring organizations throughout California.

“I enjoy the simplicity and intuitive nature of AQUARIUS Time-Series,” continued Michael Medlin. “The biggest benefit we’ve realized is time savings. The organization and management of data is so much easier and faster with AQUARIUS Time-Series, and that makes it easier to provide clients with the data that they need to make impactful and timely decisions.”

“California is a growth market for water monitoring. As the state needs to account for every drop of water during this historic period of drought, major investments are being made to expand monitoring networks,” said Stephen Cawood, Vice President of Client Services at Aquatic Informatics. “This growth in water data produced is resulting in a greater need for specialized data management and analysis solutions. We are pleased to welcome Sierra Hydrographics to our Certified AQUARIUS Integrator Partner Program. Our joint customers will benefit from highly customized local services to help them successfully leverage the AQUARIUS software suite for faster analysis and better water resource management decisions.”

To be awarded the AQUARIUS Certified Integrator status, partners must meet advanced qualifications and successfully complete the in-depth training course. AQUARIUS Certified Integrators are distinctly qualified to deliver the highest-standard services and solutions to help customers succeed by leveraging the full capabilities of the AQUARIUS software suite to better manage their water data.
