HydroTalks: A Fireside Chat with Terry Kenney

Hydrometric organizations are navigating a rapidly evolving landscape: from advancing technology and increasing data demands to the need for stronger collaboration and more reliable monitoring programs. Behind every high-quality dataset are the people, processes, and practices that ensure water information can be trusted.

Join us on September 28 at 11AM PT | 2PM ET for a 45-minute live Fireside Chat with Terry Kenney, former USGS National Surface Water Specialist and AQI’s principal hydrologist.

Through an interactive, game-style conversation, Terry will share stories from his 27-year experience in the field, discuss industry trends, explore the challenges shaping today’s hydrometric community, and answer audience questions along the way.

In this session, you will hear Terry discuss:

  • Industry trends shaping the future of hydrometry and what they mean for water professionals
  • Aquarius best practices and tips to help organizations improve workflows and maximize the value of their data
  • Strategies for hydrometric organizations looking to build more efficient, reliable, and sustainable monitoring programs
  • Field data collection insights and practical approaches for improving data capture and consistency
  • The importance of community building and collaboration across the hydrometric profession
