Aquarius: Methods Measured Time Series

A measured time series in AQI Aquarius is a continuously collected dataset that comes directly from an instrument, sensor, or manual observation source — such as water level (stage), temperature, precipitation, or water quality readings.

Unlike derived time series, which are calculated from other data (for example, discharge derived from stage using a rating curve), measured time series represent the original observed values collected in the field or from telemetry systems.
