Aquatic Informatics welcomed 30 new staff in the first half of 2013, including two domain experts: Water Quality Analyst David Gilbey, and Hydrology Specialist Jamison Romano.
Vancouver, BC, July 11, 2013 – Aquatic Informatics Inc., a global leader in providing innovative software solutions for hydrologic data management and analysis, is today announcing the appointment of two new hydrological domain experts: 20-year water quality expert David Gilbey and 10-year hydrology specialist Jamison Romano.

David Gilbey is a water quality domain expert with over 20 years of experience gained while working as Water Quality Program Coordinator with the City of Lake Oswego and as Water Quality Analyst with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality. David brings deep expertise in water quality sampling and analysis, statistical analysis, regulatory compliance and implementation, database development and management, and GIS. David is a Master’s of Science candidate in Environmental Science and Resources from Portland State University.
Jamison Romano brings over 10 years of experience as a hydrology specialist. Jamison most recently held the position of Project Manager & Environmental Scientist with Golder Associates, a global environmental engineering and consulting firm. Previously, Jamison worked for the Water Survey of Canada as Hydrometric Supervisor and Technologist. His diverse experience includes managing multi-million dollar environmental projects, developing real-time custom hydrometric data applications, and overseeing large hydrometric operations. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Environmental Management from Royal Roads University.
