Vancouver, Canada, December 12, 2017 – Aquatic Informatics Inc., a global leader in providing innovative software for water data management and analysis, has announced James Griffiths as Chief Financial Officer. James Griffiths will lead the finance and administration teams for Aquatic Informatics, and has already been a key player in helping to drive accelerated growth for the company after the amalgamation of Aquatic Informatics with WaterTrax and Linko Technology earlier this year.
“We are thrilled to have James, with his many years of financial experience in the water data industry, on our management team,” said Ed Quilty, President and CEO of Aquatic Informatics. “This is a pivotal time for Aquatic Informatics, as we are now the largest water data management company in the world. Having James’ insights will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth and deliver high value for our 1,000+ customers. It’s my pleasure to welcome James.”
James began his career in sales and then obtained his CPA with KPMG in 1992. He then spent 5 years in emerging markets in Eastern Europe and Asia with Pepsi Cola in a market development and finance role. Upon his return to Canada, he was a lead investor in WaterTrax, then joined the company as CFO and helped to evolve the business from a start-up into a strong, stable growth company. James also played a key role in the acquisition of Linko in early 2015 and the amalgamation with Aquatic Informatics in 2017.
