What are sustainable levels of nutrient loading in your watersheds? Lakes, reservoirs and waterways everywhere are reaching a tipping point of cumulative effects. If we learn nothing from the experiences of South Florida, we are complicit in an ecological crime. Neglect and ignorance of the status and trends in water quantity and quality may be the norm, but it doesn’t provide a very compelling excuse.
