• Synchronize with a list of monitoring locations from a geographic information system (GIS) database or an enterprise asset management system.  
• Synchronize with an external measurement database such as a laboratory information management system (LIMS).  
• The data provider plug-in framework ensures data is synchronized not duplicated so that there is a single point of entry for all data
• Data provider plug-ins need to be developed specially for each external data source that has to be synchronized – this development can be done either by Aquatic Informatics, or by a third party using an MS Visual Studio solution template provided by Aquatic Informatics.
